Description

The fields of application for the range of pneumatic brakes and clutches are diverse: machinery for metal cutting and forming (presses, shears, folding machines, etc.), in the field of construction, marine, etc. The clutch brakes are systems with a dual function of braking and clutch engagement, where both functions cannot be activated at the same time. Depending on the needs and requirements of each customer, we offer combined, multi-disc, safety, oil-pneumatic, etc.

5.8 SERIES CLUTCH-BRAKES

This clutch-brake range represents the latest generation developed by GOIZPER. One of the main features is that the maximum possible torque is achieved within the dimensions of the unit, thanks to the piston attaining the maximum diameter. These clutch brakes are prepared to be mounted with fixing rings or keyways.

5.7 SERIES CLUTCH-BRAKES

This clutch-brake range achieves the maximum torque for each of the different sizes, within the traditional GOIZPER clutch-brake design. Sizes 10, 18 and 36 are interchangeable with the same sizes of Series 5.0. Sizes 55, 75, 76, 77 and 78 have the same diameters as the respective 5.0 series but are wider and offer very high torques. They can be fitted with fixing rings on both the clutch and brake sides and are able to compensate for the wear of the seals

5.0 SERIES CLUTCH-BRAKES

The 5.0 series pneumatic clutch brakes are the latest version of our traditional tie-rod assembled clutch brake design, which ties both covers together to prevent deformation and fatigue breakage. Another of its characteristics is that the brake side cover is made of aluminium, which results in low inertia.

5.5 and 5.6 SERIES CLUTCH-BRAKES

The 5.5 series consists of clutch-brake models with double discs on the clutch side, in order to achieve lower inertia. The external covers and hubs are made of electro-welded steel. The 5.6 series is similar to the 5.5, but differs in that it has dual discs on both the clutch and brake sides, which improves the torque-to-inertia ratio.

5W SERIES OIL-PNEUMATIC CLUTCH-BRAKES

This is the pneumatically driven, oil-cooled, multi-disc clutch-brake. This clutch-brake range combines pneumatic clutch operation with the cooling capacity of hydraulic clutches. The result is a clutch-brake with the ability to achieve a high manoeuvring frequency. The cooling of these clutch brakes is determined according to the energy dissipation required for each application, and can be either natural or forced cooling.

5.35 SERIES PNEUMATIC BRAKE

These clutches transmit torque from one axle to another by means of friction between their inner and outer discs. The tightening of these discs and thus the clutch engagement is achieved by means of air pressure.

5.36 SERIES PNEUMATIC BRAKE

These are safety brakes, i.e. they are applied by means of springs in the absence of air pressure. When air pressure is applied, they are released. They are also known as negative brakes.
